It all began on 12 April 1965, when Mr. Udit Narayan Vishwanath Sultania opened a modest steel-trading shop at Shivrinarayan. From that single outlet, driven by a clear vision, the Sultania family embarked on a journey to become a name synonymous with trust, quality, and integrity in Raipur’s steel market. Fueled by hard work and a commitment to excellence, the shop steadily grew, establishing itself as a stronghold of reliable service and honourable business practices. Over time, its offerings evolved; from basic steel trading, the business began dealing in high-end materials including GK TMT and other top-tier brands, setting the benchmark for quality in the region.
In 1998, carrying forward this legacy, Gopal Prasad Sultania founded what is today known as Vishwa Geeta Ispat (earlier Vijay Laxmi Steel). What began with two dedicated employees, hauling the weight – both literally and figuratively – of early operations, has grown into a multi‑generational enterprise. With each generation, new hopes, fresh energy, and renewed purpose were added, forging the identity that the company lives by today.

Our operations have expanded far beyond Raipur; we now serve clients pan-India, delivering over 300,000 metric tonnes of steel annually, reliably sourced from esteemed brands. The trust we have earned is reflected not only in the tonnage shipped but in our growing workforce – spanning four generations – now employing over 45+ individuals who manage everything from sales to dispatch, from quality control to digital outreach.
