General Manager – Operations & Strategy

Job Summary

The General Manager (GM) will oversee daily operations, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination of Vishwa Geeta Ispat’s steel manufacturing and sales operations. The role demands leadership, business acumen, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations, supply chain, and sales strategy alignment.
• Supervise departmental heads to ensure efficient performance and compliance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth and cost optimization.
• Analyze key business metrics and prepare management reports.
• Liaise with vendors, government bodies, and clients for smooth functioning.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained.

Requirements

• MBA/PGDM or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in steel or heavy industry management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
